Human Resources Generalist
Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSun Mountain Custom Doors, an industry leading manufacturer of custom wood doors and other architectural millwork products, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist, working at the company's HQ/Factory location in Berthoud, Colorado (near Loveland).
The HR Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties including onboarding, benefits administration, recruitment/employment, and employment law compliance.
Job Duties Conducts onboarding of newly hired employees Coordinates Health, Life, Vision, STD, and 401(k) benefit enrollments Reconciles/validates data entry to ensure data integrity, and support routine reporting requests Maintains up-to-date employee records in a timely manner Assists in the recruitment process by completing job postings, reviewing resumes, completing preliminary telephone interviews, and performing reference checks Maintains a listing of approved positions along with assigned salary grade levels Support initiatives and activities form employee and manager training Supports company-sponsored employee events Maintains compliance with federal and state employment regulations Performs other duties as required and assigned Required Skills, Experience, Education Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years Human Resources experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Computer proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality Must have high initiative, integrity, strong work ethic, good communication, and analytical skills Excellent time management, organizational skills and enjoy working in a fast paced environment Able and willing to work well in a diverse environment PHR or SHRM certification preferred Only candidates meeting these requirements will be considered.
Local northern Colorado area candidates only (within 30-minute commute of Loveland, Colorado).
No relocation support offered.
Competitive salary of $65K to $70K annually, plus bonus.
